Located 117 km from Leh in the heart of the blissful ecosystem that is the Sumur village in Nubra Valley, V Resorts Lharje Nubra is as Ladakhi a retreat as one can get. The resort is placed right along the upper reaches of Sumur, about 2 km from the main road and barely 400 meters from Sumur's Samstanling Monastery.   While the rooms (all of the same category) are located across three different levels, each of them is done up in simple & minimal ways with large glass front, offering views of the mountains and the impressive Poplar trees, unique to this land. The resort also houses an in-house restaurant and although internet connectivity is something of a dreamy aspiration in Nubra, the restaurant also boasts a TV for guests to enjoy a T20 match or perhaps brush up on the news.
